Student Employee Training

As part of the university mission, Human Resources plans to guide students to be "...lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ and leaders in their families, communities, chosen fields, and in building the kingdom of God." For many students at BYU–Hawaii, a job on campus may be their first experience in a professional work environment.

To help our student employees succeed, Human Resources is offering paid training for all student employees. The training will occur on Thursday, March 13 from 11 am - 12 pm in the Aloha Center Ballroom. The topic of the training is Accountability. Students will understand the significance of workplace accountability, discover essential steps to practice it effectively and cultivate habits that promote responsibility.

We invite all BYU–Hawaii student employees to attend. By attending this training, students will develop professional work habits, learn how to meet management expectations and develop positive working relationships with others.

This is paid training, so students should receive permission from their manager to attend and must clock in for the hour. Light refreshments will also be provided. Students should register for the training by completing the web form below.
