1. Knowledge Point
Overview: A 15 minute presentation on how to get the most out of our Human Resource software. Answer questions like: How do I write a job description? Where do I create goals for employee evaluations? Where do I find helpful hints on how to increase my employees productivity? All this and more…….

2. Recognition
Overview: A brief introduction to our employee recognition programs ( Years of Service and Exceptional Service Awards). Great suggestions on how to reward your employees on an individual basis. What recognition means to employees.

3. Human Resource Training Website
Overview: This session is a Show & Tell session. We will show you where to find Job Descriptions, Employee Evaluations, Recognition Programs, Training Calendar, Descriptions of Training Classes and On-Line Learning?

4. On-Line Learning
Overview: This session will show you how to set up an online learning account. We will also show you some of the courses that are offered and do a brief show and tell introduction to the overall program.

5. Teamwork
Overview: A fun 15 minute team building activity. Then a quick summary of team building techniques.

6. Customer Service
Overview: A fun condensed presentation on the 4 simple principles of Pike’s FISH Market.:
Play, Choose Your Attitude, Make Their Day and Be There!

7. Basic Supervisory Skills
Overview: This will be a nuts and bolts presentation geared to new supervisors. We will touch on topics like: Tips for learning the ropes quickly, basic steps to earning trust from your employees, how to handle your first meeting and delegation.
 
1. Financial Planning Workshop
Overview: The purpose and process of a personal financial analysis is introduced and a forms booklet can be completed and returned to a DMBA financial planner for a personal financial analysis. The DMBA financial planner uses the data provided to prepare a personal financial analysis.

2. DMBA Website Workshop
Overview: New features of the DMBA website are demonstrated.

1. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Overview: The FLSA provides information regarding minimum wage, overtime, child labor and recordkeeping requirements affecting full-time and part-time employees in the private sector and in Federal, State, and local governments.


2. Traveling Time

Overview: Information regarding when to pay employees when attending training seminars and conferences.

Risk Management


1. General Info

Overview: Filing an Auto Insurance Claim, property damage/loss, non-property damage/loss, personal injury (non-work related), certificates of insurance, risk assessment checklist, anticipate risks when planning an event.


2. Workers' Compensation

Overview: Workers’ Comp 101. You, the investigator.


3. Discrimination/Harassment/ Documentation

Overview: Identifying and preventing discrimination, identifying and preventing sexual harassment, when and why of documentation


4. Ergonomics

Overview: Workstation evaluations, making your work area work for you!, micro-breaks, key to preventing aches and pains, ergonomics 100


5. Wellness & Fitness Program

Overview: Fitness... a life long goal, wellness with you in mind!

 
1. Basics In Managing Your Timecard
Overview: Learn how to manage your own timecard in compliance with the Kronos policies/procedures.

2. How To Add Leave Hours
Overview: You'll find that adding leave hours is not as difficult as you think.

3. Adding Historical Amounts
Overview: Forgot to add your leave hours before the sign-off? Adding a historical amount will do the trick.
