How to start an employee evaluation
This is a step by step guide for using Knowledge Point's Perfomance manager software.
If you have been assigned to do employee evaluations, and have
not installed the applications to your computer, please refer to the how to install web tutorial. If you would like to print a blank evaluation document please refer to the how to print a blank form tutorial.
Note: You need to have kpoint.bat file in your startup folder to connect to the knowledge point server. If you still don't see the step 3, please refer to the how to locate the kpoint.bat file web tutorial.
1. Go to "Start" menu

2. Locate Performance manager icon
as a link on desktop
or KnowledgePoint Applications in "Programs" in the start menu
3. Click Run to start program

4. enter User ID: and Password and click "OK"

5. Select individual in the left side navigation bar

6. Click Performance Appraiser icon

7. Click Start new review button

8. Enter dates for the "Review Period" the start date should be 1 year from the end date

9. Next you will see the "Performance Review" sheet (you may edit this sheet any time like a word processor)

10. On the "Review Sections" select the "Compentencies" tab, select the area and click "Rate"

11. You may rate the individual from "Low" to "High" by clicking on the corresponding table

12. You may choose "Coaching Ideas " for help on feedback for the individual

13. You may choose to copy the corresponding text to the "Performance Review" form

The "Next" button will navigate you to the next set of "competencies" options
